Child & Family Advocacy

What is an Advocate?

Our Child & Family Advocates are trained and knowledgeable of the investigative and court process. One Advocate is assigned to each family of all children served at the center. They work with each family to guide them through the system, offer support and provide education and resources to the caregivers.

Why does my family need an Advocate?

Oftentimes the nature of an investigation can be traumatic, not only for the child who has experienced abuse, but also the family. It is important that your family has support from a professional who has the ability to make connections with various local resources and services from which your family may benefit.
